I manage a consulting practice with a focus on project based work within the financial services industry with a particular focus on alternative asset firms (hedge funds, VC/PE firms, etc.). Projects range from filling in for operations/accounting staff on an interim basis, fractional COO/CFO/CCO services, RFP/vendor selection processes, managing systems implementations, assisting with fund start-ups, etc.

On the start up front, I have launched two separate businesses over the past decade. In 2015 I opened a restaurant in Boulder called TrooVi Eatery & Juice Bar that I closed in the same year (lots of lessons learned!) and in February 2020 I launched a company called Boulder Area Singles that organized social events for singles in their late 30's -50's. As you may have guessed, 2020 was not the best year to launch a business based on social events. :) I kept the business going until October 2022 and while it never became a meaningfully profitable company, I believe the business was a success based on the connections that were made and relationships formed amongst the members that continues on today. 

Prior to starting my consulting practice I spent 10 years working inside hedge funds doing equity research and portfolio management.  I am experienced in financial statement review, preparation, and forecasting. I have a passion for the stock market and stock picking and do that in my spare time.
