Silvis Materials is reducing the carbon footprint by replacing petroleum-based adhesives and glues with 100% bio-based materials from plants and trees.  Silvis enables packaging materials and building products to be recyclable, biodegradable, compostable, and sustainable.  Silvis has been awarded with several grants, including NSF SBIR Phase I and a Colorado AI grant, and has participated in many accelerators, including Techstars, Plug and Play, Cycle Momentum Suzano (Canada), and TVx Boulder. Patty is a patented, plastics engineer with an MBA from MIT.  Kim is a seasoned business consultant with an MBA from Leeds Business School and a science background.  She has also taught graduate classes in fundraising at CU Denver.
