Why Can't We Have Nice Things?Because we have to build them first.Boulder is amazing. BUT… People are busy.And sometimes the people you really wish you could build with fall into that category. Life. So let's give ourselves an excuse to get together and build awesome things.
Enter the Boulder Startup Week Builder's Room.
The builder's room is not about competing with other people. It's about getting things out of your head and onto the page. Tune out the hype, meet some cool people, see if you can, for a couple days, give yourself permission to leave your ego at the door, learn something, better yet, teach someone.
Better still, build the infrastructure we need to make the energy of startup week persist after everyone goes home. We're focusing on community and collaboration through the lens of gamification. We hope to celebrate projects that will solve the community's pressing needs. We're going to kick things off in the Galvanize classroom and then hope to take over the town, with regular check-ins Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday at the basecamp.
